Durham University Netball Club (DUNC) may be a small club but the commitment and talent of our dedicated squad shines through making us a prominent club within Team Durham sport. In 2006, DUNC were awarded Team Durham’s University Club of the year.
The first team have their sights firmly set on promotion to BUCS Northern Division 1, and with the likely recruitment of a full time coach for 2009/10, this is an exciting time for Durham University Netball Club. The second team will also compete in Northern Division 2 during the coming campaign.
What makes DUNC unique is a strong team ethic which has played a key role in the successes over the last few years; a valuable sporting asset that has been established through hard work in training, on the court and in many of Durham’s notorious night spots following victories on a Wednesday afternoon!
